Offering three Roundtable Discussions each year. These interactive discussions are led by an expert and provide a networking forum with peers.
Coordinating active and energetic topic specific workgroups such as:
- Current Medical Practice - working on preconception health care
- Research – with the support of the March of Dimes we are developing a Research Think Tank
- Health Disparities Reduction – offers information and resources in this area
- Other groups under development
Providing a website for members to share information about activities, opportunities and needs.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the University of Colorado Health Science Center convened a community planning group in 2006. The task of this group was to identify what additional action could be taken to make a positive impact on pregnancy outcomes in Colorado. As this group gathered advice from the Perinatal health community leaders, the nonprofit HealthyWomen HealthyBabies Roundtable emerged.
We are a project of the nonprofit 501(C) organization, the Colorado Women’s Health Care Coalition. HealthyWomen HealthyBabies is managed by a knowledgeable Advisory Committee, an active Executive Committee and small staff.
