Dedicated researchers are pioneering medical discoveries that are leading to significant and effective methods to better understand and promote healthy birth outcomes. We are able to save more high-risk babies. Yet much more work needs to be accomplished to prevent preterm births. With dedicated funding for comprehensive research; strong community support for healthy lifestyles; and removal of financial, cultural, and geographic barriers to quality medical care; collectively we can bring more healthy babies into the world.
